Cyberbond: Coatings, Adhesives, and Inks
| Apollo Cyanoacrylates |
|
Also known as super glues, cyanoacrylates are one-component, solvent-free, very fast setting adhesives. They polymerize within seconds due to humidity. Setting time decreases on acidic surfaces and increases on alkaline surfaces. They bond most plastics, metals and rubber materials and are common in OEM, aerospace, medical, automotive, electronic and many other industries. These Apollo adhesives are available in standard formulas, extra-flex series, rubber-bonding series, H-series and specialty cyanoacrylates.
Typical Apollo adhesives used in product assembly:
Cyberbond Apollo 2240 - Viscosity 2400 cps, set time on metal 55 seconds, on rubber 30 seconds and on plastic 30 seconds, tensile 3700 psi, temperature range -65 to 280 F
Cyberbond Apollo 2028 - Rubber bonder, viscosity 180 cps, set time on metal 12 seconds, on rubber 5 seconds, on plastic 8 seconds, tensile 3200 psi, temperature range -65 to 200 F
(Many other Apollo adhesive formulations are available.)

| Titan Anaerobics |
|
Single component, and designed to deliver a metal-to-metal bond that can withstand shock and vibration, Titan Anaerobics provide excellent chemical resistance. They cure at room temperature when in contact with metal and in the absence of oxygen. These adhesives polymerize to high molecular weight plastics. Titan adhesives work well for metal-to-metal applications where threadlocking, threadsealing, gasketing or retaining is required. They are available as threadlocking compounds, retaining compounds and gasketing and sealing compounds
Typical Titan anaerobic materials used follow:
Titan Threadlocking Compound 7242 - Medium-strength threadlocker, 800 to 1200 cps,
.006" gap fill, 10 to 20 minute set speed, 100 to 150 psi breakaway @ -76 to 302 F, prevailing torque range 70 to 130 psi @ -76 to 302 F
Titan Retaining Compound 7640 - High-strength medium-viscosity, viscosity 40 to 700 cps, gap fill .006", set speed 15 to 20 min., sheer strength steel-to-steel 3500 psi, temperature range is -76 to 302 degrees F
(Many other Titan Anerobics are available)

| Cybercryl Acrylics |
|
Methacrylate-based, 2-part structural adhesives that provide excellent bond strength on various substrates, Cybercryl products cure to form tough, durable bonds that exhibit exceptional impact and environmental resistance. Cyberbond's next generation technology utilized an east-to-follow 1:1 mix ratio of resin and hardener. This user friendly design allows us to offer a wide range of open and fixture times to better serve your specific application. They bond most plastics, composites and ceramics as well as metals, including steel, stainless steel and aluminum and are popular in the boat and sign manufacturing industries.
Typical Cybercryl Acrylics follow:
Cybercryl 800 - Mix viscosity 280,000 cps, open time 5 to 6 min, fixture time 9 to 10 min, operating temperature -40 to 250 F, typical tensile strength in psi, aluminum 3000, steel 4500, fiberglass, PMMA, SMC, ABS, PVC all SF (substrate failure)
Cybercryl 810 - Mix viscosity 210,000 cps, open time more than 60 min, fixture time 20 min. after assembly, typical tensile strength psi aluminum 2600, steel 3500, fiberglass, PMMA, SMC, ABS, PVC all SF (substrate failure)
(Many other Cybercrl acrylics are available)
